welcome on my sparetime - homepage
I have been a sparetime knifemaker since 1996 and I interested in knives since my active times in a hunting club. That´s why my first projects were huntingknives. My historical interest makes me build historical copies of knives to bring back the feelings of these by-gone times. My last experiments dealt with forge methods and grinding of blades. Some of my knives I also sell, but I don´t like to make knives according to the wishes of customers, because knifemaking for me is most of all a creative compensation. My possession of working machines is modest; most of my work is handmade.
